The Jbaa Municipality, in collaboration with the Shouf Biosphere Reserve, celebrated in 9 june the first “Cherry Festival” at the Jbaa Entrance. It all started with a hike along the Jbaa Partridge Trail, followed by the unforgettable experience of hand-picking fresh cherries from the surrounding agricultural terraces. The celebrations continued at the Jbaa Entrance, with its newly renovated picnic area, where the visitors enjoyed local food, a variety of fresh cherry products, live musical shows, and ended with a performance by the Ain Anoub Dabke Group, and the hope to meet again next year with the second version of the Cherry Festival!
